Day #1545 (Fri., Mar. 28, 2014) – Framing The Shed
I dropped Katie off at school today. As we were leaving the house Katie was upset that mommy could not finish the story they were reading. She cried a bit in the car but when we arrived at the school I finished the book for her. I “made up the words” as Katie would say. As we were closing the book Katie asked me to see if we could get her one of the books advertised on the back cover. It was about “Clifford The Big Red Dog” and birthdays.
There was a mix-up in the information I have been getting from the car rental company regarding how much the insurance company would pay for a rental. They told me that the insurance company would not pay the tax, but the insurance company says that they will. The end result is that we decided to not get a rental as paying the tax would be another expense on our budget and have been “making due” with one car for the past week or so.
The shed is coming along nicely. The “frame” is up… as you can see in the photo to the right.
Katie got an invite to Jonah’s 4th birthday party. Jonah is one of Katie’s classmates.
