Day #1573 (Fri, Apr. 25, 2014) – Katie Puts On A License Plate
Katie woke up crying at 3:00am this morning. I was already up so I went to see what the matter was (my wife slept right through it). She said that she was scared of the dark and after I calmed her down she said she wanted to watch some television. So off to the living room we went to see some “Curious George” and “Wild Kratts”. After some milk and a dish of “All Sorts Of Things” it was off to bed again. She went to bed about 3:30am.
This morning I needed to put the license tag on my 1995 Camry and Katie came out to help me. I basically put them on but let her have a turn or two of the screwdriver so that she could say that the helped daddy.
Katie wanted a present this evening so I gave her the little parakeet (see photo to the right) that I got at FiveBelow a while back. It will roll it’s head and wag it’s tail and chirp when you walk by it. Katie liked it so much that she even took it to bed with her.
Katie and I were watching cartoons on the bed when she said “Let’s all pretend we’re sick and are about to throw up”.
