Day #1578 (Wed, Apr. 30, 2014) – Katie The Pirate
My wife had a meeting this morning so I drove Katie to school. She was dressed up as a pirate. We saw Eleri who was dressed up as a viking with a helmet, beads and a robe.
On the way to school Katie complained about the smell in daddy’s new car. The previous owner used air fresheners and the smell is still lingering. We joked about the fact that a skunk might have crawled under the seats.
I picked up a bucket of chicken at KFC on the way home from work this evening. They were offering a free cake, choice of chocolate or lemon. I picked up the chocolate as I’m sure Katie is more into chocolate than lemon.
When I came home from work Katie had a butterfly on her cheek (see photo to the right).
