Day #1583 (Mon., May 5, 2014) – Sock Puppet Kit
I got this email from my wife while I was at work:

I think tonight Katie deserves something – a compliment, a present – I am not sure. Just make sure her good behavior is appreciated! She is very nice to Stephanie, hasn’t asked for me at all. For some reason they are at home – I guess Katie didn’t want to go anywhere… I also had no problems dropping her at school – even Miss Peggy was surprised how happy Katie was.

I stopped off at Moe’s on the way home from work today. I got the usual, but since today is Cinco De Mayo Day they were giving a free side of spicy guacamole.
This evening I gave Katie her really special present for being such a good girl today…a “Sock Puppet Kit” (see photo to the right) that I picked up at FiveBelow a while back. She wanted to make the turtle sock puppet that was in the booklet but it seems they didn’t have all the accessories necessary to make all the puppets. We had fun creating three unique puppets none-the-less.
