Day #1600 (Thu., May 22, 2014) – Mommy/Daughter Day
Both my wife and I took today off from work. We both have tons of vacation time we need to use up and with Nicky gone my wife decided she would take care of Katie. I went downstairs to work on packaging boxes for the shed.
My wife took Katie to the Science Museum in Northern Durham. They spent all day there…left at 10am and got home around 5:30pm. They did eat there…but the prices were expensive. Katie got a grilled cheese sandwich, fries, and a lemonade for $9.00 (see photo to the left)
In terms of “fun”, Katie got a chance to pat a baby alligator. She also saw a snake being fed…a frozen mouse and live goldfish. Yumm….
This evening the television show about KidZoo was shown on tv. There was Katie playing around and having fun. My wife and I both remarked on what great shots of her there were.
