Day #1608 (Fri., May 30, 2014) – Robin Sleeps With Katie
Both my wife and I overslept this morning. As I passed Katie’s bedroom I noticed that Robin was on the bed sleeping with Katie. She has been gentler with the cats as of late. I think she realizes that if she is less loud and noisy they will accept her better.
I’m not sure if I have ever take the opportunity to show the cats favorite play toy. You can see it in the photo to the left. Yes, that’s it, a spring! Of all the things a cat can play with…this is their favorite. You can throw a ball or a toy mouse at them all day long, but this little spring is what will keep them entertained for hours.
I drove my wife to work this morning and we had to stop off at her bank so that we could withdraw enough cash to pay the nannies.
This evening we all went to YoPop. Katie seemed more interested in playing in the flowers outside than she did in her bowl of frozen yogurt. When we got home I read to her from her “Frozen” book.
