Day #125 (Sat., May 8, 2010) – Gingerbread Man Card
I went on a grocery run today. Needed to pick up a lot of supplies as our friends are coming from Charlotte today.
I didn’t tell my wife but I ended up at the Dollar Store to purchase a basket and stuffing. I will be assembling a combination Mother’s Day / Birthday basket tomorrow for her courtesy of little Katie and I. I guess if she happens to read this post tomorrow she will learn of this… 🙂
I had to go to Ace Hardware to pick up an air conditioner filter. I was sure to show this to little Katie. She seems to interested in what is going on around her…this interesting little item will surely tickle her fancy.
I was playing with little Katie this afternoon and happened to see a card that my friend John from New York sent me a while back. It was a card made in the shape of a gingerbread man (see photo to the left), and it opened up to make three gingerbread men. I happened to show it to little Katie and she loved it.
We just got a phone call from Charlotte. Our friends will not be able to make it today…but hope to be here tomorrow. No problem…we will have plenty of food and such for them when they arrive.
This evening we went out to get some supplies. My wife stopped off at a baby store and got some clothes and toys for little Katie. We then went to Target to get some more diapers.
