Day #1655 (Wed., July 16, 2014) – Hour And A Half In The Pool
Nikki took care of Katie today. They went to her house and I guess Katie spent an hour and a half in the pool (see photo to the right). She also played with Miley, Nikki’s dog. Miley has taken a real shine to Katie.
My wife sent me a photo while I was at work today. It showed her makeshift office out on the patio. One of the cats came up to see her and slept nearby.
I picked up a lollipop for Katie at work today. I didn’t notice til after I gave it to her that it had a bubble gum center. I’m going to have to watch out and make sure that the bubble gum doesn’t reappear stuck around the house somewhere.
Grilled chicken and grilled asparagus cooked outside on our grill this evening. Fresh and delish.
When it’s hard to get Katie to eat a good option is a “Plate of All Sorts of Things”. The reason this works so well is that it is basically a sampler. Once one item tickles her fancy, and she eats it, there is a good chance that her hunger side will take over and she will eat more.
