Day #1669 (Wed., July 30, 2014) – Swim Goggles
Katie’s drawings are becoming more colorful and elaborate. The photo to the left shows her drawing of a rainbow.
My wife and I were up in the middle of the night. She doesn’t feel like eating much these days but it settles her stomach. She loved my idea of a bowl of cheerios and milk with banana slices.
Nikki drove Katie to Wal-Mart today to pick up some swim goggles but they didn’t have anything. They were able to pick up a pair at FiveBelow but unfortunately as it was raining they didn’t get the chance to try them out in the pool today.
Robin scratched Katie on the leg today. Katie brought a bed out to the cat dish area so that Robin could be more comfortable. Robin didn’t look at in the same way and scratched her when she picked him up. We’ve been wondering when he would finally scratch her. She tends to be rather rough with the cats.
My wife was able to nap today so fortunately I could go to bed early this evening when my wife took over tending to Katie. As I was nodding off Katie came over and pretended to kiss me. In actuality she was taking the box of Maple Leaf Cookies on my nightstand.
