Day #1674 (Mon., Aug. 4, 2014) – Dance Camp

Today was the first day of Katie’s dance camp. My wife dropped her off…this was one of the first times she has been driving in weeks. Katie was a bit shy at first but her friend Olivia from preschool was there. She even waved good-bye to my wife as she was leaving and blew her a kiss.

At lunchtime today I went to Michael’s to get another package of construction paper (via a 40% off coupon) and then to Sam’s where I got the Jungle Animal Sticker Book Katie had requested yesterday.

2014-08-04 - Katie Writes OKKatie has learned how to print out OK (as you can see in the photo to the left).

This evening Katie met me at the door in her leotard. After playing with the Jungle Animal Sticker Book for a bit she showed me some of the dance moves she learned today. How to walk standing on her toes and a “bunny dance” move.

Later this evening Katie explained the difference between a walrus and a seal. A walrus has tusks and a seal has whiskers. I responded? “What about a chicken”?
