Day #1676 (Wed., Aug. 6, 2014) – Cutting Ponies Hair
Katie was very quiet this evening when I got home from work. I went down to the bedroom to see my wife and she said that she thought Katie was up to no good. Well, we found out that she was right. Katie had taken the scissors to the hair on her pony dolls (see photo to the left). I guess that this is a phase that all children go through…and Katie is going through this phase now.
Katie showed my wife and I what she learned at school today…the move where you put your foot on your knee and your arms in front of you like you are carrying a huge ball. I looked it up and I think it is called a retiré devant.
My wife is still not 100% but she seems to be feeling less sick and more strong each and every day.
We’re not exactly sure why but Katie still insists on either my wife or I accompany her to the bathroom. I wonder how she goes to the bathroom at school or when she is out?
