Day #1714 (Sat., Sep. 13, 2014) – Getting Flu Shots
I’m not sure what you call this particular contraption, but “Play Station” seems like a good name. At any rate I fixed it (see photo to the right). We think that the workmen might have broken it when they moved it to our new house. The assembly just won’t freely turn around the center table. At any rate I used wire to secure the loosened hinge assembly. Works great now. We’re lending it to our neighbors so that little Gunther can enjoy it as much as Katie did.
I took Katie to get her flu shots this morning. My wife didn’t want to be around the “flu mist” now that she is pregnant. On the way Katie asked me if I would “Throw her in the woods” if she didn’t get a flu shot. I then told her how people will sometimes jokingly say it’s a “Froggy Morning” when they mean “Foggy Morning”.
As soon as we got home I picked up the wife and we drove down to CVS to get our flu shots. It took forever…and they had no public bathroom for Katie. I pretended to sit on Katie who was on one of the chairs. Afterwards we went to “Tuesday Morning” and picked up a “Make A Princess Dress” kit for Katie.
