Katie woke me up this morning with the desire to go get a “My Little Pony” coloring book. First things first, I had to get supplies, so I went to WholeFoods and Trader Joe’s. I picked up some snow peas at Trader Joe’s. Katie loved them…at least the peas inside them. She would leave the wrapper on the plate.
My wife took a nap in the afternoon while I tended to Katie. At first she wanted to hide under the covers with daddy in case the “ghostes” appeared, but seemed very eager to go to Target to see Halloween decorations when I mentioned it. I gave her a bowl of cotton candy to munch on during the drive.
The decorations in the store in Chapel Hill were the same as those in the Target in SouthPoint. We did find a “My Little Pony” and Dinosaur coloring book (see photo to the right) so she was happy. On the way home we stopped at McDonald’s where we shared a McChicken, Fries, Chocolate Covered Ice Cream, and Fruit Punch.
