Day #1727 (Fri., Sep. 26, 2014) – Soccer Talk
My wife dropped Katie off at school this morning and as she was about to leave Katie put a death grip on her leg. My wife was worried that it was going to be yet another day in which Katie didn’t want her to leave but in the end she asked her to bend down and gave her a kiss. Then she ran off to play.
Krista took Katie to Nicky’s place for the day. At 4pm Krista delivered Katie home and Katie didn’t want Krista to leave. She wanted her to stay so that they could read books together.
You can see a photo of the “consignment sale” soccer shoes that my wife picked up for Katie in the photo to the right.
My wife then took Katie to soccer practice a few minutes earlier and Katie just wanted to kick soccer balls into the net. Today they put all three girls on one team and they would sit and talk in the middle of the game. It did seem today that Katie knew more about what to do while she was on the field.
The coach brought granola bars and juice today. The parents signed up for snacks so they will be bringing them from now on. I wonder how many parents will forget.
My wife had a hard time putting Katie to bed this evening. Katie put Robin in the closet this evening because she wanted to get married with him.
