Day #1746 (Wed., Oct. 15, 2014) – Off At 2
My wife had to go to work this afternoon so I took the afternoon off. I arrived home just before 2pm.
Katie wanted to stay home and play monsters but we needed some supplies at Sam’s Club (they had a great deal on pumpkins as you can see in the photo to the left). When I offered to take her to McDonald’s for some french fries she said she wanted to stay home and play monsters. She then whispered in my ear that she wanted to go for an ice cream after playing for a bit. I told her that we might not have enough time so she decided that she would go out.
After Sam’s Club we stopped off at Target to see some of the animated Halloween decorations. The batteries in most of them had worn out so we weren’t there for long. At McDonald’s we got a dipped ice cream cone, some fries and water (they didn’t have lemonade). When we got home around 5pm my wife had already returned from her meeting.
I made buckwheat this evening and Katie ate the whole bowl. It really bothers her that Batman will run away whenever she comes near.
