Day #1751 (Mon., Oct. 20, 2014) – Washing The Patio
Katie found some wood in the shed yesterday and had to make a craft out of it (see photo to the right).
Katie had a nightmare last night that Elery wouldn’t play with her. I had a good chat with Katie about not letting anyone make her sad. If Elery doesn’t want to play with her she should just go play with other girls and forget about Elery. It will be Elery’s loss.
Everett and Darren were out to wash down the patio today. It turns out the rather drab look was due to the mold. It already looks good now that it is clean but they plan to put two coats of clear stain on it once they fix a few boards and drive in the loose nails.
Kristen got a full-time job so she will no longer be available to be Katie’s nanny. My wife and I discussed it and we are going to just go with Nicky from Monday-Thursdays for now. On Fridays my wife enjoys taking the afternoon off to spend time with Katie.
