While my wife took a nap this afternoon Katie and I wrote two songs together (see photo to the right). Here they are:
Song #1: “We Love The Monkeys”
——————————
Two little monkeys up a tree
One loves you and one loves me
One fell down and hurt his head
The other one put him right to bed
The first one started to laugh
The other one saw a giraffe
The giraffe said I love you
The monkeys said we love you too!
Song #2: “The Song Made Out Of Ice”
———————————–
There was a polar bear in the deep cold
She saw her babies dressed in gold
The babies started to skate on ice
They told their mother they would be nice
A penguin came to play one day
Then they started to laugh and say
Can we go and play some more
That will be fun…just us four
After each song we would perform it. Katie would play on the piano and I would sing. When we were done we pretended that the audience was yelling out “Brava”, “Bravo” and “Encore”.
This evening we went to Kohl’s and Target so my wife could return stuff. We picked up a number of Halloween decorations at 50% off.
