Day #1783 (Fri., Nov. 21, 2014) – Vending Machine Lemonade
My wife and I exchanged quite a few emails regarding Katie’s new bedroom. She is very excited about moving to the room that we used to use as the office. I asked her this evening why and she replied that she will have more room for her dolls. The photo to the left shows the tentative sketch of what it will look like. Little Bobby will be moving into her old bedroom.
I picked up a lemonade from the vending machine at work today. I thought she would be thrilled…but she started to cry when I gave it to her. She said that she was hoping for a toy. My wife and I had to use this as a teaching moment so she would learn to be grateful for all gifts she received. She later came and apologized to me.
