Day #1797 (Fri., Dec. 5, 2014) – Playdate With Duncan
My wife had Duncan and her mom Kendra over for a playdate. They ordered pizza and Katie and Duncan had loads of fun. They both really enjoyed playing playing with a toy trike that Katie brought up from the basement all by herself. We got it at a consignment sale in Apex when my wife’s mother was here for a visit.
There was some drama… Duncan wanted to borrow Katie’s parakeet for a few days but Katie didn’t want her to. Fortunately Duncan forgot about it by the time they had to go home.
This evening I gave Katie a present that they gave me at work (see photo to the left). It’s a little stress ball shaped like one of those M&M dolls whose arms fly open when you press it.
My wife is cleaning up the office in preparation for priming/painting tomorrow. Katie managed to find one of my old neckties in the mix so I showed her how to tie it.
