Day #1843 (Tue., Jan. 20, 2015) – Cedar Falls Park
The picture to the left shows the assembled baby crib in little Bobby’s room.
I got up early this morning and assembled the ingredients for slow cooker chicken soup. Katie tends to like the chili and soups and stews that I make in the slower cooker so hopefully this will be another winner.
They are painting the walls in Katie’s school so she had another day off today. Nikki took care of her as my wife had to go to work to attend meetings.
Nikki took Katie to Cedar Falls Park (across from East Chapel Hill High School) where they not only had a picnic lunch but walked the trails. Katie told us that they went looking for a squirrel and a polar bear. They found a squirrel but finding a polar bear proved to be more elusive.
