Day #1853 (Fri., Jan. 30, 2015) – Princess/Pirate Day
Today was Princess/Pirate Day at Katie’s preschool. The kids could dress up in whichever costume they wanted. Katie decided to dress up as a princess fairy…wings and all (see photo to the right). I bet Luke will try to dress up as Spiderman…
This evening Katie and I played the match game. It’s where all the cards are turned over and you can turn over two and if the faces match you have a win. She’s really good at it even though she often comes up with her own rules. For example, even if two faces don’t match, if they live together, then that is okay.
As this is Super Bowl weekend I went to Trader Joe’s this evening for supplies. The lady who checked me out said that they expect tomorrow to be the busiest shopping day of the year as people will be loading up on Super Bowl snacks. Sure glad I went this evening…
