Day #1868 (Sat., Feb. 14, 2015) – Attending Eleri’s Party

Lowe’s Home Improvement is having their monthly kit making event for children this morning but I don’t think I’m going to be able to make it. Too much going on today. Today they are making wooden Valentine hearts to give to mom.

We had no heat this morning so I stayed home and waited for Greg, the home heating guy that Everett recommended, while my wife took Katie to Eleri’s Birthday Party. I also had to juggle an 11am meeting call for work.

2015-02-14 - Eleri's BirthdayMy wife said that the Science Museum in Durham that put on Eleri’s Birthday Party was one of the worst organized parties she had ever been to. The kids did get to see a few animals and Katie enjoyed playing with the kids and eating cake (see photo to the left).

This afternoon Katie made a dress for her Barbie doll. I’m continually amazed at how quickly she is growing up and the extent of her art imagination.

Katie decided that she would call Robin “Master Fuzzlewink” this evening. Where in the world does she come up with these names?
