We’re still snowed in at our house. Another day of working from home for daddy and mommy. No school for Katie. She has not been to school since Monday.
Our neighbor Al tried to navigate up the street in front of our house with his car this morning. He was hoping to take his girls to daycare but it was not to be. He ended up parking his car on the side of the street in frustration.
This afternoon Gabby came over to play with Katie for a couple of hours.
Katie’s dance class was cancelled this afternoon. It seems that everything is closed up around town.
This evening I did manage to get out and run some errands. We were in desperate need of goat’s milk from Whole Foods. Katie also wanted some jello.
At WalGreens I picked up a couple of packages of diapers for Katie as they were on sale. I also managed to find a “one year old boy” birthday card for Gunther (it even has an iron-on transfer…see photo to the left).
The last stop on the agenda this evening was Trader Joe’s for yogurt and other supplies.
WHAT I LEARNED TODAY
——————–
1) Katie has had a hankering for jello these past few days. Today I got a chance to get it.
