Day #1906 (Tue., Mar. 24, 2015) – My Wife’s Stitches

2015-03-24 - Baby On BoardOur “Baby On Board” signs (see photo to the left) came in the mail. There are two…one for my car and one for my wife’s.

My wife’s stitches started to turn red and ooze a bit so we decided that we had better drop by Duke and have them checked out. After we dropped Katie off at preschool we were on our way to Durham. It turns out that there was nothing to be worried about. My wife ended up feeding little Bobby in the examining room before we drove home.

When we arrived home we saw our neighbor Jui-Lan. She wanted to see little Bobby. We invited her into the house but she said she would stop by tomorrow with her husband Mike.

I picked Katie up at preschool and we drove out to Carborro to pick up Samantha. Samantha tended to Katie this afternoon and even took her to Helen’s place for a playdate. During this time I drove out to the chiropractor to get my neck looked at. Katie strained it during one of our wrestling matches the other day. The chiropractor said that this would probably be a “one off” but to call her next week if I needed another visit.

When I got home I crashed and napped til 6pm at which time I took Samantha home to Carborro. I didn’t notice that she did the dishes til I returned home and my wife was up from her nap. That was very nice of her…any bit of help we can get around the house certainly helps out.
