Day #144 (Thu., May 27, 2010) – Baby Blocks
My wife sent me an adorable photo of little Katie with her blocks. I put it up as wallpaper on my work PC.
The photo to the right shows the building blocks that little Katie was playing with when my wife snapped the photo.
This afternoon I got the following email from my wife:

Katie is sleeping… She is very good today. Extremely hungry, but good. 🙂

This evening I was singing “Chippy-Chippy Chipmunk” to little Katie and she stared deeply into my eyes and started to play with my mouth.
7:07pm – My wife just took little Katie to the nursery for a feeding. Daddy is tired…I’m going to bed soon if the chipmunk will be have…
My wife told me that she was having a Skype Session with her mother and little Katie was looking at the laptop screen. Her mother started to sing and little Katie smiled…so it looks like she realizes that this is more than just a television…there is a real person on the other end. She has never smiled at the television even though we have watched numerous television shows like American Idol.
After I went to bed my wife sent me this email:

I forgot to tell you that Katie rolled from her back onto her tummy today. 🙂 I tried getting her do the opposite (i.e. from tummy to back) with no luck aven though it’s supposed to be easier… Go figure…
7:59 pm – Katie is asleep. I hope – for the night… I am going to bed too…
