Day #1921 (Wed., Apr. 8, 2015) – Katie Gives Little Bobby A Bath
Today is my first day back at work today. I was off for the past four weeks on Paternal Leave but all good things must come to an end. Little Bobby is still not sleeping through the night so it’s going to be rough for a while. Hopefully he will do a 100% switch over to daytime soon.
I dropped Katie off at preschool this morning on the way to work. She was singing into an old plastic cup on the way to school. She wanted to take it to Show & Share but I told her that it was too dirty. She found it on the floor of the car and it fascinated her for some reason.
Everett came this morning but left soon afterwards. My wife was sleeping so she didn’t know why. No work was done on the patio or the sink today as a result. We later learned that he wanted to get some money for the supplies he needed at Lowe’s.
Nikki is flying home to Oklahoma as her mother is sick. Melanie will come tomorrow and take care of Katie. I got the booster seat out of my wife’s car to give to her.
Katie has taken a fancy to learning her letters. You can see her “D” letters in the photo to the left.
Katie helped my wife give little Bobby a bath this evening. My wife gave her some lotion and a wash cloth and she actually washed him.
This evening we added little Bobby to the health, vision & dental benefits where I work. We have 31 days from the date of his birth to do this.
