Day #1923 (Fri., Apr. 10, 2015) – Choosing Her Own Clothes
In the middle of the night little Bobby smiled at me. My wife tells me that they start to give “Social Smiles”. Guess this was one.
Katie bounded into the bedroom this morning showing me the dress that she wanted to wear. I decided to let her wear it when they were not too different from what my wife picked out for her. In the future I think my wife and Katie are going to have to decide on what she should wear the next day at school. In this way there will not be any big dramas in the morning.
On the way home from work this evening I noticed some Trader Joe’s stickers on the floor of my car (see photo to the left). There was a time when Katie would not let a sticker go to waste. She would put it on “something”. Those days are gone.
I made some pasta and chili for dinner this evening. Katie didn’t like it as she said it was too spicy. I did give her a bowl of “All Sorts of Things”. She liked the dried coconut (with powdered sugar on the outside) but not as much as I thought she would.
