Day #1927 (Tue., Apr. 14, 2015) – Music Class Tonight
I dropped Katie off at school today. She wanted to take both her motion-activated parrot and a stuffed animal to school for Show & Share.
Little Bobby’s routine continues to be nurse, sleep, put in crib, wake up crying… The doctor mentioned that this might continue for 5-6 months…but we’re sure hoping it will be over before that. He is already starting to sleep longer on occasions…just not enough occasions for us yet…
They had their annual music class at Katie’s school this evening so I took her while my wife tended to little Bobby at home. It was only 45 minutes long so the time just flew by. They had me get down on the floor with Katie and sing some songs. They had us walk along the floor with paper plates under our shoes (you can see Katie holding one in the photo to the right). They didn’t have any musical instruments or sticks for us to use this year. The music teacher kept saying how this was the best job she ever (she apparently left the nursing profession to do this).
Genevieve, Stephen and Gunther stopped by this evening to pick up their dishes. They are heading to California tomorrow and then to Toronto for a conference.
Gunther was fascinated with the crayons I gave him. Katie enjoyed playing with Gunther…I think she will really enjoy the times she gets to play with little Bobby in the future.
