Day #1943 (Thu., Apr. 30, 2015) – Disciplining Katie
It was hard to get Katie ready for school this morning as she was tired and a bit forgetful. Such is the case when you stay up too late at night playing.
My wife got a nice thank you note from Mary, the director of Katie’s preschool. She thanked her for the lovely photo mug of the “Fish” class that my wife gave her.
Everett managed to clear the blockage in the drain in the 2nd bathroom (after moving the vanity to little Bobby’s room as you can see in the photo to the right). Not sure what it was but they needed to have a “jackhammer” type of drain snake to clear it. They think it might have been an animal that crawled up into the drain and made a nest?
Katie was very energetic and loud and would not listen to daddy as I was putting her to bed this evening. As a result she woke up little Bobby which means I had to wake up my wife. I told her that I was very upset with her and that there would be no playtime tonight as a result. I even mentioned that we might cancel Daddy/Daughter Day this Saturday. She was very upset with that. I told her that if she impresses me with listening to me tonight and tomorrow we would go ahead with Daddy/Daughter Day. She went to bed no problem. She sure wants this Daddy/Daughter Day.
