Day #1960 (Sun., May 17, 2015) – 7th Wedding Anniversary

2015-05-17 - StickersI went to Trader Joe’s for supplies this morning. I thought that Katie might like to tag along but she wanted to stay home. I got pretty much everything except for yogurt. I was about to go back and get some when my wife said that the “Greek Yogurt” I got would suffice. At any rate, Katie forgot she wanted it by this point. The guy at Trader Joe’s gave me a big stash of stickers (see photo to the right).

My wife slept from 12:40pm to 3:10pm … about 2.5 hours this afternoon. She game me a small bottle to feed Little Bobby and I did my best to keep him entertained and fed. She started to act up just before she woke up. Good thing she woke up because I was just about to wake her.

It is our wedding anniversary today. It’s kind of hard to celebrate with our little appendage (i.e.: Little Bobby). We stayed home and I made lasagna and kelp/avocado salad for our Sunday dinner. We had some more questions, like “What is your favorite dessert”. I said cotton candy and Katie switched hers to “cotton candy”. I think we might have to work on the fact that it is okay to have a choice and stick with it.

In putting Katie to bed this evening we played “Finish The Story” game. I would say a few sentences and then Katie would add a few more sentences and pretty soon you have a story. Tonight’s story involved a monster going through a secret passage way and ending up in China. A dragon followed him back home through the passage way. It’s an interesting game and who knows where the story will take you.

After I put Katie to bed I finished setting up Simple Safe. They had me install a new Verizon card into the monitor. It’s up and running now but I think we’ll just set it at “OFF” til my wife and I are more rested and know how to best utilize it.

Little Bobby was up all day! Towards the evening I put “Baby Genius: Nursery Rhymes” on the television and he loved it. His little arms and legs were just a movin’.
