Day #1965 (Fri., May 22, 2015) – Final Day At Preschool
Splash day at Katie’s school today. As my wife was putting a swimsuit on Katie she noticed a tick (see photo to the left) under her arm. We’re going to have to keep an eye on her.
So Katie went to school in a swimsuit today. When I left for work she was helping a boy wash a plastic “ride in” car. Although she is going to summer camp at school next week this is officially her last day as a preschool student.
Today they are picking the kids who will be in the Mandarin Chinese Program at Glenwood School this fall. I guess they are going to mail letters out to people so unless Sharon knows who got in at tomorrow’s Chinese Music Class it might be a while before we find out.
Everett showed up today. We’re going to get him to put a skylight in the kitchen and hallway. This should add a lot more light to our house. We also talked about getting a van as my wife’s car is rather small to transport two kids.
I asked Katie what she did at splash day today. She told me that she played with Tatum a lot today. She’s a very friendly little girl and I’m glad that Katie is playing with her as opposed to having more Eleri drama.
This evening my wife and I talked a lot about sofas. The futon we have is past it’s prime and it would be nice to get something better for guests to sit on. All I really care is that it is comfortable.
