Day #1966 (Sat., May 23, 2015) – Grabbing Little Bobby

Everyone was up at 7am this morning. I made breakfast.

At 11:10 am I bundled up Katie and took her to Chinese Music Class…which will be the last one. I asked Sharon, the teacher, if she knew anything about the Chinese School Lottery but she said she knew nothing. There were few people at the class today, I guess due to the Memorial Day weekend. She invited the class to Alfredo’s afterwards for pizza but nobody seemed too interested. As soon as the class was over Katie was out the door and running to the car.

2015-05-23 - New StringsI got out the “lap harp” that we bought at one of our neighbor’s yard sales a while back. I’m thinking that if I can get Katie interested in it I will play along with the guitar. I got a couple of new sets of strings for my electric guitars (see photo to the right) so that I will be ready. I spent the evening putting them on my Fender Strat and the Fender “Custom” I got in Australia. Little Bobby was watching me string them and was quite fascinated.

Katie went to Helen’s place today at 2:30pm for a play date. Brian brought her home when it was over.

Little Bobby started to “grab” at things today. For example, when you pick him up and carry him he will “grab” onto you. No long just two arms flailing in the wind.
