Day #1972 (Fri., May 29, 2015) – Katie Wears Makeup For The First Time
I dropped Katie off at school camp this morning. This will be the last time she will be attending class in this building. Hopefully little Bobby will be attending two years from now.
While at school camp I took the opportunity to talk to Laura, Katie’s teacher. She told me that her daughter went to the Mandarin Chinese Program and is 15 years old now. Katie came running up to me saying Eleri was mean to her. Laura, Katie’s teacher, thinks that it would be a good idea for Katie and Eleri to be separated next year.
Katie had dance rehersal this afternoon at East Chapel Hill High School. This was the first time that she got to wear makeup. I gave her a chocolate-covered marshmallow so she effectively had chocolate lipstick.
I talked to Hannah just before she went home this evening. She told me that she thought it would be a good idea if Duncan and Katie don’t play together any more. I guess Duncan is very possessive and bossy towards Katie. The other day she had a tantrum because Katie would not come and sit by her at the science museum.
My wife went to bed at 8:20pm this evening and woke up at 11:20pm. I changed little Bobby 3 times in a row…each time I was done he spit up again. We played the electric piano a bit. Of course each time we play I have to move Katie’s jungle animals out of the way (see photo to the left).
I’m wondering if little Bobby is left-handed? He sucks the thumb on his left hand and this evening he was favoring his left arm.
I put little Bobby down on the play mat and fixed the little bunny cat toy on the overhang. He loved it. Batman actually came and sat on my lap when I was in the LazyBoy this evening.
