MacKenzie came over to our house to play with Katie today. They played very nicely together. A bit of dress up, a bit of CandyLand and some “no drama” fun. What a nice change. MacKenzie’s mom said it was nice to have a playdate where you didn’t need to talk to, or discipline, or break-up the children.
MacKenzie’s mom said that they purchased a “Monopoly Junior” game for MacKenzie a while back. My wife went online and found a “Frozen” edition so she purchased that. She also ordered the “CashFlow For Kids” game (which is the child version of the “Get Out Of The Rat Race” or “Cash Flow 101” game by Robert Kiosaki). I’ve often said that as soon as Katie gets old enough I’m going to play this game with her so she will learn about money. Well, now is the time.
The big news for today is that we got “The Letter” from the Chapel Hill School Board (see photo to the left). Katie was accepted into the Mandarin Chinese Program for next year. Very excited!
