Day #1993 (Fri., June 19, 2015) – Katie’s Art Class
At noon today I drove over to the Dollar Store as my wife needs birthday wrapping paper for MacKenzie’s birthday tomorrow. I also picked up a couple of swim floats for Katie (hers broke yesterday) and a couple of those “Swimming Noodles” as well.
Katie’s art day camp at the Carrboro Arts Center is having a performance for the parents today at 3:30pm. I didn’t have any meetings at work so I drove over to see it. I met my wife and little Bobby there and soon Katie came bounding out of the classroom to see us. They sang various songs for us and took turns putting little items on a large tree drawing that was on the floor. In the end we picked up all the various art that Katie did during the week (see photo to the right). I drove back to work and my wife took little Bobby and Katie home.
Another walk around University Mall this evening. Katie didn’t want to go…she wanted to stay home and play with her animals, but we managed to convince her in the end.
