Day #2030 (Sun., July 26, 2015) – “Inside Out” Movie
I went to Trader Joe’s for supplies today. We were out of almost everything but ice cream was on the top of the list.
When I got home little Bobby was giving the play yard a spin. The area of the carpet is now a “clean zone” where Katie can no longer put her toys. If she does play with toys there (big ones…no more little pieces allowed), she must clean them up when she is done.
Katie and I had Daddy/Daughter Day #33 today. She has been wanting to see “Inside Out” (see photo to the left) ever since she saw the billboard on the Tymberlyne theatre a few weeks ago. These creatures were at MacKenzie’s birthday party. I don’t remember exactly where…but perhaps on the cake or another food item. At any rate, off to the Lumina Theatre we went.
I bought Katie a kid’s meal…popcorn, lemonade and some gummies for $4.95. The total cost of this and two tickets was under $20. Katie liked the movie but cried at the point where the girl missed her friends and was sad.
When I got home I went to bed and slept for 3 hours. I must have been exhausted. At any rate, I missed our Sunday dinner…although I had some Trader Joe’s orange chicken when I awoke. Sometimes you are just so tired you have to do what you have to do…
