Day #2035 (Fri., July 31, 2015) – Rainbow Play Doh
I dropped Katie off at Art Camp this morning. I told her that I might not be able to make it to the 3:30pm presentation but I would be able to make it to the 11:30am one for sure. The 11:30am one is easier to make as I can call it my lunch hour.
This will be the last week in which Katie will be attending both AM and PM sessions of Art Camp. Next week and the week after she will have only one Art Camp class per day. The week after that she will have no camps as we want her to be well rested for elementary school which is the following week.
During the 11:30am presentation the theme about the weather came forward with gusto. There was one teacher from Cameroon as she was especially animated. Katie made a number of lovely drawings and some colorful rainbow Play Doh (See photo to the right). She also drew a picture of “Birds” that I simply love…
One of the teachers at camp this week said that Katie always asks very intelligent questions.
