Day #2047 (Wed., Aug. 12, 2015) – Little Girls Can Be Mean
My wife purchased the book shown to the left today. It will arrive on Friday. Hopefully it will give us some strategies on how Katie can cope with Eleri and the like when she starts school at Glenwood in a week or so. We both plan to read it and try to implement the strategies (if they are any good).
The plan is to try and meet as many parents of “good kids” as we can find and have them over to our house for dinner. Rather than the negative “You should avoid these kids” perhaps the best way forward is “You should spent time with these kids”. In this way perhaps Katie will find a good circle of friends that will support her and be life long friends. This is the theory and plan…we’ll see how it works out implementation wise…
My wife told me that Kirsten was holding little Bobby today and when he saw her he outstretched his arms for her to hold him. This is the first time he did that. Our little boy is growing up…
