Another day of rain…gonna start to build an ark soon if this keeps up. Katie wore her yellow rain jacket and pink boots to school today. She is still having problems counting to 50. Today she went from 39 to 50. We did three tries then I decided to let her have a break…
My wife tells me that Ella will be Katie’s reading partner at school. Ella can already read so she will be able to help Katie out. We’re quite excited about that. I asked Katie what type of books she reads with Ella. She told me that it was a book about sharing. I’m sure she will be excited once they get to books about animals.
Katie told us that they played with a cart with wheels in gym class today. Apparently you could either sit on it or lie down on it.
Little Bobby has the most wonderful smile. It’s a smile that brightens up the room. What a contrast to Katie who was such a serious child. It will be interesting to see what he is like when he grows up. Will he be the total opposite of Katie? Time will tell.
