Day #2103 (Wed., Oct. 7, 2015) – First Kindergarten Field Trip
Katie’s kindergarten class went for their first field trip today…to a farm. She told me that there were goats, a horse and a cat. She got to take a pumpkin home with her (see photo to the right).
This was also Katie’s first trip on a school bus. She was surprised by the fact that there were no seat belts. She mentioned this to her teacher Miss Randby who replied “It is safer in the front of the bus”. Good question though…why do school buses not have seat belts?
My wife sent me a photo of little Bobby patting Batman. I put it in my electronic photo album at work.
We missed the call from Lloyd’s Tire so my wife had me peek inside their garage to see if the van was still there. It sure was…and we’re waiting for the verdict on it.
Katie sure knows a lot of Chinese words…and it’s been only a little over a month since she started school. Maybe she is better at reading/writing than math? Surprise considering mommy & daddy both love and are good in math.
