Day #157 (Wed., June 9, 2010) – New Fridge
I slept in this morning and when I got up my wife, mother-in-law, and little Katie were all up.
When little Katie saw me she put out her arms for me to take her. I’m not sure if she was really happy to see me or if she was wondering who this new person (i.e.: my mother-in-law) that is holding her. My mother-in-law is going to be here for a couple of months, so I’m sure that they will have plenty of time to get acquainted.
My wife told me that she loves the bedroom we have provided for her. She said that she has never had such a nice place to stay. I’m glad that she is pleased with her living arrangement.
We got our new fridge this afternoon (see photo to the left). NOTE: It’s the photo that is leaning…the fridge is just fine… I guess that little Katie was fascinated with the delivery process and these strange men bringing this strange contraption into the house. My wife told me that she just stared at the guys with mouth wide open.
My wife emailed me that: “I do enjoy having mom here – she has already been very helpful. Tomorrow she will take Katie for a walk alone, so I will have an hour for myself. Katie’s been asleep for an hour now.”
