Day #2156 (Sun., Nov. 29, 2015) – Kai’s Birthday Present
I did a quick run to the gym this morning. When I got home my wife and Katie were ready to go to Kai’s birthday party. You can see the gift that they got for him in the photo to the right. He invited all the kids from his homeroom class. As Eleri is not in his homeroom we don’t have to worry about any issues regarding that.
The birthday party revolved around art, and they hired an art teacher to lead the event. Katie was very attentive and the art work she brought home was wonderful. I told her that if she wanted to, we could get her professional lessons to help “hone” her talent. This is something she enjoys and obviously has a natural talent for. We’ll see what happens in the future.
My wife got to meet William and his mom, Katie’s “future husband”, at the party.
While they were away I tended to little Bobby. I’m still not 100%, but good enough to take care of him for a few hours. I even managed to put some beef and potatoes in the pressure cooker so that dinner would be ready when they returned.
