Day #2163 (Sun., Dec. 6, 2015) – Mother/Daughter Day

My wife had to return some stuff to SouthPoint so she took Katie with her. Katie loves it when she gets to spend 1-1 time with my wife these days. They saw the new Zales Jewelry Store which is opening up. The plan was to have lunch at Chick-Fil-A, but Chick-Fil-A is closed on Sunday.

My wife put little Bobby to bed just before she left for the mall and I fell asleep at the same time as well. When little Bobby got up three hours later he woke me up, so we effectively had a nap during the same time period.

Genevieve came over to our house to talk about baby stuff this afternoon and brought Gunther with her. We’re hoping that Gunther and little Bobby will become great friends as they grow older. We’re planning on putting up a tree house between our properties so that both boys will be able to play on it. Gunther loved playing with a train that Katie used to play with when she was younger. Little Bobby will be playing with it before you know it.

2015-12-06 - Katie Likes The JamI made Katie a peanut butter and jam sandwich. She said that she likes the jam…which you can clearly see in the photo to the right.

My wife took over three boxes of baby clothes to Genevieve’s house this evening. Their second child, a boy, will be here at the end of January so these clothes will come in handy.

I introduced Katie to the “Bigger Than A Breadbox” game this evening as I was putting her to bed. It is effectively a guessing game where someone thinks of something and is only able to give yes/no answers to the other person’s questions. We narrowed it down to animals so that Katie could get the idea of how to play the game. She loves it.
