Day #2276 (Mon., Mar. 28, 2016) – Mommy/Daughter Day
The photo to the right shows the Easter egg my wife made yesterday.
I was not feeling well so I took the day off work. This is Easter break for the kids so there was no need to drive Katie to Glenwood.
My wife took a day off work and took Katie to the zoo in Ashboro. A couple of other families joined them. Kai’s whole family was there and Linda brought her boy as well. My wife told me that they had a great time. Katie was so good with the two boys and there was no drama.
It was good that my wife could spend the day with Katie. She was thinking to get one of the nannies to take Katie to the zoo as I can’t really walk for long due to my bad knee. I suggested she take her as she has plenty of vacation time and I think Katie misses having time with her due to Bobby’s entrance on the scene. They had a great time.
You have to be quick these days when you open the baby gate to the hallway. Bobby will hear you coming and can he really crawl fast.
Bobby’s little “La De Da De Da” sound (which none of us can replicate) is just adorable. When you try to make the sound he will reply in turn. He will even do a raspberry if you do one first.
