Day #2291 (Tue., Apr. 12, 2016) – Kasey’s Last “Sort Of” Day
My wife got some new socks for Katie (see photo to the right). Katie loves anything associated with animals.
Today was supposed to be Kasey’s last day as babysitter for the kids. As it turns out she was up late last night studying and could not make it. Fortunately Arnesa was able to fill in. Maybe she didn’t want to say good-bye to Bobby?
In the parenting workshop we had last Wednesday they mentioned corporal punishment like spanking. My wife sent out an email to clarify and they responded that this was indeed not the policy at Chapel Hill schools.
Katie was in another one of her wild and extremely energetic moods this evening. I told her specifically not to throw a pillow and me and she did it anyway. I raised my voice at her and she calmed down. Later in the evening my wife asked her to apologize to me and she came over to me but didn’t know what to apologize for. I told her that she should never apologize if she doesn’t know why. We had a long chat about the importance of listening to mommy & daddy.
