Day #2312 (Tue., May 3, 2016) – Sarah From Sugarland
My leg is still not the best so my wife took Katie to school this morning as well. I worked from home.
My cane came in the morning but I decided to give my leg a rest and work from home the rest of the day. I’ll go to work tomorrow.
A new potential nanny named Sarah came to see us after 5pm today. She is a joint Psych/French major at UNC and works at Sugarland (see photo to the left) part time. In fact, she also tutors French at Katie’s school and knows some of Katie’s friends. She will be picking Katie up after school from time-to-time, which will be a great help. I had to pick Katie up from school yesterday and today and will tomorrow and Thursday as well. On Friday Hannah will pick her up so I will get a bit of a break.
Katie was like an animal on steroids when Sarah was here. Not sure what that was all about? She was running around and pretending she was various animals. We had a talking to her afterwards on how she was lucky she didn’t scare Sarah away.
One of Oscar’s friends showed up after 8pm this evening to look at the car we have for sale. Really??? What are we running here a used car lot where you can just stop by anytime? We’ll be sure to get rid of this little Nissan, we can then put the “Used Car Lot Out Of Business” sign up to inform the rest of Oscar’s friends.
Bobby was up late again tonight. I guess there is just too much excitement and he doesn’t want to go to bed. I was cuddling with him watching some “Duggars” episodes on YouTube when he started to grab my ear and then bit me… Such are the antics of an overly tired child.
