Day #2318 (Mon., May 9, 2016) – Happy Birthday Mommy
The photo to the left shows the downed trees in Steve and Genevieve’s back yard. They ruined the plumbing so they are coming over to our house to use the bathroom now.
On the drive to Glenwood this morning Katie was not paying attention so the count to 100 was rather slow. I stopped the car a couple of times to get her attention. She told me that the reason she was slow is that it took a while to crunch the pill that her mother gives her in the morning.
Today is my wife’s birthday. I sent her an ecard from work and included Katie and Bobby on it.
Arnesa is back today. She was up in the Buffalo / Niagara Falls last week with her husband. We are certainly glad to have her back. It’s been rough tending to the kids last week without her.
My wife stayed home from work today so that she could talk to Everett about things that needed to get done around the house. We told him about the oak tree in our front yard that needs to be removed. He suggested getting three quotes from various tree removal companies. We will probably use the same ones that Genevieve & Steven are using as they have about five trees down in their back yard.
Everett also thinks we can get a playground for free if we keep our eyes open on Craigslist. People are always looking for ways to get rid of them once their kids are gone. He also put some plexiglass on the screen door. The cats are not too pleased…they cannot come and go any more.
Bobby refused to eat from me this evening so I propped the high chair up beside the LazyBoy and put “Macarena” on YouTube. He downed two jars of “Oatmeal & Prunes” no problem. He sure loves that video.
