Day #2330 (Sat., May 21, 2016) – Kidzoo & UNC Unite…
My wife took Katie to Kidzoo this morning. UNC Hospitals and Kidzoo have united for a “Bring Your Stuffed Animal In For A Checkup Event”…if that’s what you call it. It was an attempt to familiarize kids to hospitals and doctors and the like. I guess Katie was a bit shy when one of the staff handed her a syringe. I think she might have blown this profession up so much in her mind that when she actually got to see medical stuff in action it overwhelmed her?
I took the Honda van to Best Buy this afternoon to get the backup monitor installed. Unfortunately their internet was down so I will have to take it back another time. I stopped off at Trader Joe’s for supplies on the way home. They are now selling marshmallows (see photo to the right).
Gabby came over to play with Katie this evening. They will be moving to New Jersey in June so this could actually be one of the last times that Katie will get to see her.
Bobby is walking more and more these days. Today he had fun pushing one of Katie’s plastic “ride-on” vehicles around the living room. It won’t be long…
