Day #2345 (Sun., June 5, 2016) – Bobby’s First Apricot
Bobby enjoyed munching on fresh apricots and watermelon this morning. He is becoming more and more stable on his feet. Wait til he gets running…it’s hard to keep up with him now.
Katie has started to play “peek a boo” in the little tunnel we have (see photo to the left).
Katie and I had a long conversation about what we enjoyed the most in life. Katie told me that she enjoyed playing with her friends. I told her that being able to get along with people was voted as the #1 skill that an employee must have, so she is learning good habits. I then went on to tell her that I enjoyed coming up with business ideas and launching new businesses. She asked me if she could help. I told her that I would gradually get her involved in clerical activities as she got older and that eventually she and Bobby would be able to take over from me someday. All this business talk eventually resulting in us playing a couple of games of “Rat Race”. She wanted to be the banker this time.
Katie’s classmates and parents had a meeting at a local park this afternoon. It was debatable whether my wife would take Katie due to the chance of rain and thunderstorms, but they went at any rate.
