Day #2356 (Thu., June 16, 2016) – Chapel Hill Public Pool
I went to a Reactive Microservices Hackathon at Oracle today. They gave us some “freebies”. I took home a T-Shirt for my wife and some “Chicklets” for Katie. There was also a thermal mug (see photo to the right) that my wife expresses an interest in so I think that is hers as well. Nothing for poor Bobby…but I’m sure that there will be all sort of treats and devices from conferences yet to come…
Apparently we have a public swimming pool off Rosemary Street in downtown Chapel Hill. We didn’t even know about it. Cameron took Katie there today and just loved it. They even have a kiddie pool area. At least we know that our taxes are going towards something that we can consume…
My wife called Miss Barbara up this evening so Katie will be taking swimming lessons with her again this year. Both of our kids sure love the water. My wife gave Bobby a session in our inflatable pool out on the patio this evening.
